How you started in coffee – I got started in coffee during college, a friend referred me to working at a busy coffee shop on the weekends on the Upper West Side of NYC to make some extra money. Little did I know, that company had an awesome specialty coffee training program and I quickly fell in love with everything about being a barista-extraction, machines, latte art and of course, the people that the coffee community collects-customers and colleagus alike. That was 10 years ago and it's been such a fun ride since. 

What you love about coffee – The people! It's so nice to work in an industry where people care about the product, the environment and leaving things better than we found it, at every level of the supply chain. I have met the best people since working in coffee. 

Your go-to karaoke song – Dad-rock all the way! Usually a Creed song, probably "One Last Breath".

Your favorite hobby – Running is my favorite way to spend active time, I love having races throughout the year. I also love wine, especially natural wines and learning about winemaking, grapes, etc.
