We are now Sucafina Specialty

Sucafina North America, MTC Group and 32cup Specialty Coffee Merchants have now changed our name and visual identity to “Sucafina Specialty.”

Over the last few months, we have worked incredibly hard in developing a new brand direction that better reflects our commitment to sharing value all along our supply chains.

Adapting is key to survival. In fact, we do not want to merely survive; we aim to thrive. And we are determined that our entire supply chain, from our customers through to our partners at origin, thrive with us.

We want to bring even more value to our customers. We want to increase efficiency and value by highlighting and deepening our connections to our sister companies within the Sucafina family. Our new brand also highlights that Specialty is core to who we are as a company. Specialty isn’t just about coffee; it is also about value – from our exceptional service to the relationships we have with our suppliers and customers.

Fresh Centrals Are Here!

Home of high-quality coffees with complex and exciting cup profiles, Costa Rica is a popular choice for single origin roasts, says Felice Chay, Senior Trader and buyer for our Central American selection. One of our faves this year is the Don Claudio SHB from Coopeagri.  This coffee is grown at high-altitudes in altitudes in Perez Zeledón, in the Brunca region. It is balanced and sweet with delightful fruity, chocolate and floral notes.

And while we're on Centrals, Finca El Sarral from Huehuetenango, Guatemala also brings the florals!  The Vides family really make the most of Huehuetenango's unique growing conditions, and they also prioritise the well-being of their wider community. A double win!
